About Heartfelt Party Designs
Our Story
My name is Laura, but you can call me LJ. I was born and raised in Arizona and am a proud mom of two daughters who are my entire world. I grew up in a household with four brothers and three sisters—so yes, you could say things were chaotic. Truthfully… they still are!
One of the people I admire most in my life is my mother. She has the biggest heart and is one of the hardest-working women I know. From a very young age, she instilled in me the value of hard work. As I began this journey, she became my greatest supporter, and for that I am forever grateful. In moments when I doubted myself, she always knew exactly what to say to keep me going. Thank you, Mom—your hard work and love never go unnoticed
I started event planning at an early age without ever realizing it could become more than something I simply enjoyed. Friends, family, and even friends of friends would constantly reach out—asking who to contact, for help with decorating, or just for my opinion. I truly loved it and never considered it a career. Then people began asking me for quotes, and after listening to their encouragement, I decided to take the leap—and I did.
I am continually learning, studying, and practicing my craft. The most rewarding part of this journey is knowing I can turn any event into something truly memorable. Creating lasting memories means everything to me. I deeply value the relationships I build with my clients—there is nothing more special than having them reach out later, share photos, and say, “Remember when?” That is what I truly live for. Thank you to all of you for your trust; it truly means more than you know.
A few fun facts about me: I love being outdoors and soaking up nature whenever I can. Traveling is one of my favorite ways to recharge and find inspiration. I absolutely love cooking and experimenting with new recipes, and I also have a passion for interior design. Creativity shows up in every part of my life, not just events.
I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way. Some of you have become my besties, and I will forever appreciate you—not only for the helping hands, but for the words of encouragement during moments when things felt scary. In those moments, you became more than friends. Thank you. I can truly say I am surrounded by people who have opened their hearts to me and have been nothing but supportive. I am beyond thankful.
